Welcome to St Thomas More Catholic Primary School
Our mission “To Learn and Grow as God’s Holy People” shapes our school community, guides our daily lives and inspires us to ensure that each child flourishes. As a Catholic school, we strive to educate and nurture every child, regardless of their background, abilities or circumstances, ensuring that no barrier prevents them from accessing the rich curriculum, opportunities and experiences we offer. We believe that every child is made in the image and likeness of God and deserves to flourish in an environment where they feel safe, loved, respected and inspired. Our Catholic faith underpins every aspect of school life and is reflected in the way we learn, grow and care for one another. The Gospel Values and Catholic Social Teaching guide our actions, our relationships and our decision-making, helping us to build a community rooted in kindness, compassion, respect and service. Whilst our Catholic identity is at the heart of our school, we warmly welcome families of all faiths and none, celebrating the cultural diversity that enriches our school and strengthens our shared sense of belonging.
Through high expectations, excellent teaching and a nurturing approach, we strive to ensure that every child develops academically, socially, physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
